Quick & Easy Summer Salad

I know that to most people (especially those with kids), summer is over and back to school is on the brain. But I say, all the way up until Labor Day, IT IS SUMMER. I refuse to concede so easily. I was always the weird kid that got excited to go back to school because I wanted to get new pencils and a new backpack, but not so much nowadays. Growing up means that there are no breaks from work and that life can seem a bit monotonous at times. When summer leaves, all I will notice is the sun…

Vegan Feta

To be honest, going vegetarian wasn’t really hard for me, but going vegan was a larger struggle. I used to be a huge cheese eater, so giving that up has been ridiculously hard at times. How to Have Movie Night at Home

With our upcoming move to Austin Texas approaching, A and I have been trying our best to scrimp and save wherever we can. In case you haven’t heard, moving across the country (for the second time in two years) is really freaking expensive and as much as we love going out, we have been trying our best to stay in. TSA Approved Plane Snacks

I am a very organized girl by natural, but something about going through TSA always stresses me out and I somehow end up with a 14 fl oz bottle of sunscreen in my bag or a contraband evion in my possession. Side note – the scanner at security always shows something metal in my head…I think my parents aren’t telling me something. Anyways, the greatest struggle for me is (as it often is in my life) SNACKS. Plane snacks are an…

The Perfect Iced Coffee (Vegan)

I know that I am not alone here when I say that coffee is my day wine. Coffee is a magical elixir, that fuels leaders to success and it is what gets me out of bed in the morning (otherwise I would snuggle my cat all day against his will). You might think that I am being hyperbolic, but I don’t think I am. That is why morning coffee isn’t enough and I have added in an additional afternoon iced coffee each day The only problem with most iced coffees? Now that I am vegan, soy milk just doesn’t seem…
