16 Vegan Pantry Staples

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful President’s Day weekend, we had a great time here in Austin. It was our first day to reach over 90 in 2017 and it was stunning. We spent this weekend doing a tree planting with Keep Austin Beautiful, catching a show at Independence Brewing, and eating some incredible vegan grilled “cheese” sandwiches at Bouldin Creek Cafe. Change One Thing // Cancel Your Junkmail

Image via OK, real talk time. Show of hands, who else is so incredibly sick of getting a thousand credit card offers, loan pre-approvals, and random take out menus in their mailbox everyday? Well, I cannot see your hands, but I am guessing that everyone else is over it too. I used to be the person who went into The Container Store and lost their s*** over all of the amazing prints and patterns. That was before I learned that according to the Wall Street Journal, gift wrapping sales…

I think that one of the hardest parts about maintaining a vegan lifestyle is the time that it takes. If you really think about it, all of the quick “on-the-go” meals that you typically eat on a busy day, are full of animal products (burgers, pizza, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, most sandwiches). Having a vegan lifestyle is totally worth the hassle, but it is tricky at times.  With how much we have traveled lately (Austin last week and Chicago this weekend) it has been really difficult to maintain our vegan habits and a balanced diet. In crazy times I often find myself eating…
