Chocolate Glazed Doughnuts (Vegan) + Eco-Friendly Bakeware!

As you all know, I am a huge Pinterest freak (this week we I finally hit 15,000 followers)! Anyways, bragging aside, I find that Pinterest is the perfect place for scatterbrained creative types like me to organize our thoughts and ideas into easy to locate boards. It is also a great place for me to be able to pick up on key trends before they get huge. There are always trends in food, fashion, interiors etc. that Pinterest brings to my attention, and the most recent one I can think of is doughnuts. Doughnuts are totally the new cupcakes, but…

Banana Bread Bundt Cake (Vegan)

For Christmas this year, A and I decided not to do gifts since we had just purchased our first home and were trying to save our money. Seeing the kids adorable heart shaped sandwiches and homemade snacks has got me feeling like my lunches might be a little lackluster. Typically when it comes to lunches I am either rushing to stuff leftovers into a tupperware container, or I am hastily slapping together a PB&J. It is not exactly a pretty picture and I must say that it…

Healthy Black Bean Brownies (Vegan, Gluten Free)

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I have been searching high and low for a “healthy” black bean brownie recipe. As I talked about in our monthly Currently Digging post, A and I just finished a cleanse and we are trying our best not to break the good habits we have created just because it is a holiday. That is where I got the idea to whip up a batch of black bean brownies. I love these brownies from Chocolate Covered Katie, so I decided to do my own take on them. I made them a little sweeter (hey…
